When people ask me how i reached a senior sourcing executive position in one of the largest company in the world, my answer is: Be a leader, not just a manager.

 

Before starting my professional career, i spent several years in the army. Starting as soldier and promoted to officer. As i was in my twenties, i did many mistakes and therefore i could learn a lot very early.

Then during my 30 years career, climbing each level of the hierarchy has shown me with real situations what leadership is about. And why  leadership is a must have when it comes to leading people while delivering financial results.

 

 

I can be a guest speaker in one of your management workshop or as training for your more junior leaders. I will speak about IQ versus EQ, i will speak about motivation, i will share personal stories, mistakes and success.

 

This is not suppose to be a theoretical teaching about leadership but simply my view and my experience.

The teaching part is rather pointed toward University which have supply chain and sourcing on their program. I would be a perefect guest speaker for a 1-2 days program to briefly review all key aspects of a strong project supply chain organization as well as best practices used. Also possible to go over some case study and discuss in group.
